What if a guitar amp could fit on a desk, slip into a bag, and offer a genuine range of sounds without needing an entire pedalboard? That's exactly what the Laney Prism Mini offers: a portable guitar amplifier that combines digital modeling, built-in effects, stereo sound, and Bluetooth connectivity.
Despite its miniature size, this little amp packs 17 amp models, 32 effects, 100 presets, and a rechargeable battery offering up to 14 hours of playtime. Available in blue and black, the Prism Mini is for guitarists who want to play, experiment, and improve without relying on bulky equipment.
Laney Prism Mini: two finishes, one sound world
17 amp simulations to explore every style
Versatility is one of the Laney Prism Mini's main strengths. With its 17 amplifier models, it lets you explore very different textures without changing your gear.
Clean sounds
For arpeggios, open chords, pop, blues, and delicate tones.
Crunch & rock
For practicing dynamic riffs, expressive rhythms, and slightly overdriven sounds.
High gain
For modern distortion, powerful riffs, and more aggressive solos.
The Prism Mini also offers more than 20 cabinet simulations, with the option to import custom impulse responses (IRs) via the compatible app.
32 built-in effects: a real mini pedalboard
The Prism Mini does more than reproduce different amplifiers. Its digital engine includes 32 effects, including distortion, equalization, modulation, delay, and reverb.
You can use up to 6 effects simultaneously, in addition to the amp and cabinet simulations. The Tone Wizard Lapp also lets you change the order of effects in the signal chain.

100 presets for quickly switching from one sound to another
The Laney Prism Mini offers 50 factory presets and 50 user slots. The original sounds are inspired in particular by the styles of guitarists associated with Laney, such as Tony Iommi, Billy Corgan, and Devin Townsend.
The 50 user memory slots let you build your own sound library: a clean sound for chords, a crunch for rhythm parts, a distortion for solos, or a more atmospheric preset for working with effects.
This is especially convenient for instantly recalling a setting without having to adjust every parameter before playing.
Tone Wizard: customize your amp from a smartphone
The free Laney Tone Wizard Lapp, available on iOS and Android, turns your smartphone into a control interface for the Prism Mini.
Sound customization
Modify amp simulations, adjust parameters, and organize effects.
Preset management
Create, save, import, export, and share your own settings.
Drum machine
Access backing rhythms to work on tempo and improvisation.
The Lapp offers real flexibility, but it isn't essential for every session: the Prism Mini also has a built-in 1.77-inch color screen for accessing settings directly on the amp.
A rechargeable guitar amp for playing almost anywhere
With dimensions of approximately 17 × 11.3 × 8 cm and weighing just 500 g, the Prism Mini is clearly designed for portability. It fits naturally on a desk, bedside table, or in a small personal practice space.
Its built-in lithium-ion battery provides up to 14 hours of use, depending on conditions. It charges via USB-C, making it easy to use every day.

A Bluetooth speaker for playing along with your favorite songs
The Prism Mini features a Bluetooth 5.3 connection for streaming music from a smartphone or tablet.
You can play a song, backing track, or accompaniment track and play guitar along with it, without setting up an additional speaker.
The two 1.5-inch speakers deliver a total power output of 6 W RMS in stereo (2 × 3 W). It's designed primarily for personal practice and close-range listening, rather than to fill a rehearsal room with an acoustic drum kit.

Our take: why the Laney Prism Mini deserves your attention
The Laney Prism Mini's main appeal lies in its versatility. It combines a practice amp, amp simulations, a range of effects, a tuner, a rhythm practice tool and a Bluetooth speaker in one unit.
Its compact size and rechargeable battery make it a particularly appealing solution for guitarists who want to play often, easily and without complicated setup.
It doesn't replace a powerful stage amplifier, but serves a different need: being able to plug in your guitar and instantly access a wide variety of sounds, at home or on the go.
