At the heart of the Krona's sonic identity are two newly designed Hagstrom pickups, developed specifically for this model: the Agent-X, positioned at the neck, delivers rich articulation and exceptional clarity, while the Penetrator, positioned at the bridge, ensures an aggressive, powerful sound at full volume. Both feature AlNiCo 5 magnets, and each tone control activates the coil-splitting function, providing quick access to single-coil sounds when subtlety or brightness is required. A 25.5" scale length enhances articulation and responsiveness, while the solid machined brass fixed bridge with strings-through-body construction provides impressive sustain and exceptional tonal depth. The use of a Resinator fingerboard guarantees not only extreme durability (far greater than that of traditional fingerboards), but also a fast, smooth feel combined with greater tonal precision.
